The KAISER idell-serie was produced in Neheim-Hüsten, the "City of Lights" in the German Sauerland.
Gebr. Kaiser & Co. was established in 1895 and very soon was recognized as a supplier of high quality lighting solutions. In addition, Gebr. Kaiser & Co was known as an innovative lighting manufacturer with a solid flair for modern lighting.
Gebr. Kaiser & Co launched their first catalogue in 1936 in which the table lamp model 6631 Luxus appeared for the first time. This lamp soon became the un-disputed top model of the KAISER idell-serie - then, as well as today, the symbol of noble Germanic design, exquisite choice of materials and precise engineering.
